Background
En. Helmi Bin Hassan is a senior litigation lawyer with over 20 years of
wide-ranging experience in the Malaysian legal industry. He was admitted
as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2004.
He began his legal practice at Messrs Hazza & Zahar from 2004 to 2009,
where he was actively involved in civil and criminal litigation across various
jurisdictions. He further enhanced his litigation skills at Messrs KL Chee
between 2010 and 2011, gaining valuable exposure in corporate disputes
and commercial litigation. From 2011 to 2022, En. Helmi served at Messrs
Zahar & Partners, playing a significant role in handling a broad portfolio of
cases involving civil disputes, criminal defense, land and property litigation,
contractual claims, and general litigation across the subordinate courts
and High Court in Peninsular Malaysia.
In 2023, he joined Messrs Naufal Fahmi Syufri, bringing with him deep
expertise in litigation and advisory work.
